A lot of people can unless they are non-opinionated and are ass-kissers. Those are the people the current mods want

Well you'd fit their criteria.

Haha just kidding. But not. And that's not true.

I hope the trend saying mods suck now will be gone soon. Seriously. Most of you guys can't even do remotely better.

Although I don't like saying what's already been said..

I don't know if Anna could because I have never seen her being a mod.

I know Kathleen could do just as well or better, because she has experience and I have rarely ever seen other people give as much enthusiasm to cB as her.

Darlings (Anna y Kathleen), while I know that you two hold the capabilities to run this place and do it well; I don't think this is the way to do it. Bashing on current mods and the current state of cB has gotten us nowhere in the past and if we want smart people back there, it's going to take work and maybe a tad bit of respect for current mods. The more bitching and whining we do, the less current mods want to look at us for the job. Instead of focusing on the negative, focus on what you can, and hopefully will, do for the community. Then again, it's just my two cents, do whatever-the-f**k you want! PS, I love you both and we need to talk ASAP. Do I hear a phone party?

and unfortunately, i DO see a lot of yelling in the near future of Cb, if the hiring turns out to be the suckfest that i half expect.

Trend I'd like to see -

A little less, I know what is best attitude and a little more, have faith in people attitude.

Cheesy? Yes. Naive? You betcha.

Sometimes things work out for certain reasons and it takes more than what blatently seems to meet the eye to understand that. Experience doesn't always equate to best qualifications, nor does being excesssively vocal or excessively criticizing, necessarily (especially around the time of a hiring session ;) ). These aren't definitive assertations, just some observations I've had both here at cB, and in the work force in my real life dealings.

Another trend I'd love to see - more communicating, less accusations; more mutual understanding, less jumping to conclusions. These goes for EVERYONE, both the community and the staff, who are also a part of this community.

Rebecca, i would like to see less of the i know better attitude too. unfortunately, fo rthe most part they happen to be proving themselves right... so i guess it isnt a bad thing, really.

And i agree that sometimes there is mor ethan meets the eye... but sometimes there just ISNT... oh i dont know. I dont think a lack of understanding is really the problem... I think i understand what goes on... what is lacking is agreement, and that cant just change all at once. which i know isnt what you were asking for, but i'v ekind of wandered of down my own little thought path.

Also, i think instead of lack of accusations, or rather AS WELL as a lack of accusations, i guess, we ought to be aimming for a lack of things to accuse. if things arent getting better, which is clearly the perception of many, then accusations NEED to be levelled, for the good of everyone

Ah yes - but what a trend this could be -

Meaning, James and I can have a civil conversation, perhaps even a tad on the philosophical side and maybe, in time reach some understanding which could then lead to some real and tangible outcomes. On a group scale, how cool would *that* be? :)

Does that make sense... at all?

DUDE. Read my posts. I'm not bashing the mods. I just called them out, and everything I said about them is holding true. Trust me. All of it.
