help wit text, bold/italicize/underline won't do it Options

i'm tryna change some texts a different color n make em bold/italicize/underline .. but it does nothin, it stays the same. can someone tell me wassup wit that? maybe it's somethin blockin me 4rm doin it in my layout code?
