Your favorite sleep position could offer clues about your personality, according to a new study.
After surveying a thousand volunteers, a sleep expert with England's Sleep Assessment and Advisory Service, in London, says he recently identified six common sleeping positions and what they reveal about the sleeper. 1. FETUS (fetal position) People who sleep this way are tough on the outside but shy and sensitive underneath. 2. LOG ( sleeping on your side with hands on side) Sleepers in this position are easygoing and like to be part of the "in crowd." 3. YEARNER [YER-ner] ( sleeping on your side with your hands out) Study participants who slept in the yearner position had open natures but could be suspicious. 4. SOLDIER ( sleeping on your back with hands on your side) People who sleep this way are quiet and reserved but set high standards for themselves and others. 5. FREE FALL ( sleeping on your stomach) Sleepers in free-fall position are sociable and bold, and they don't like criticism. 6. SEA STAR ( Sleeping spread out like a star) People who sleep in the sea star position are good listeners who make friends easily. I sleep in the "fetus" position. |

i do 1, 2 and 5. it just depends. i also move alot. my brother calls me an ugly sleeper.

I don't really sleep in any of those positions. The closest would be log and yes, that is accurate. I don't really "like" being in the "in crowd" or try to be, it just happens.

I move like crazy when I sleep. My sister watched me sleeping before and she said I changed positions every once in awhile >.<
