Did you believe everything your parents told you when you were little?

For example, "Babies come from Babies'R'US" or that "a thunderstorm occurs because God is angry"? Or were you a rebellious one and talked back to you mom everytime she said "Because I'm your mother, that's why"?

I, for the most part, listened and believed almost everything my parents told me. If I ever talked back, well, you'd see red marks on me in the next five minutes. =x If I didn't like what they said, I would just rant to my sister. She would agree with me though. Haha.

I questioned my mom's reasoning a lot. I was all about the understanding.

Dude...I didn't question...I was like confident they were wrong, and I'd own them with my own reasoning. And If they managed to prove me wrong, I'd give little clever remarks

My mom never told me how babies were made. I remember asking her once when i was young, all she said was, "you'll find out later on"

Nope. I could tell if my parents were lying. They're really bad at it. rolleyes.gif I never believed in Santa Claus. I know what my dad's handwriting looks like. When I was about 8, I got a present from "Santa Claus." I knew my dad wrote it.

Hahaha yeah. Although my parents didn't give me all the facts. I believed in Santa Claus for the longest time. As for the Tooth Fairy, I believed it up until my mom woke me up as she was putting the money under the pillow. laugh.gif They completely dismissed the "Where do babies come from?" question everytime. XD.gif

Aww. I believed in Santa Clause for the longest time. I thought the tooth fairy was cool but when I didn't get any money under my pillow, I stopped believing. My parents said ' why should I give you money because your tooth fell out?' and they thought it was useless for parents to do that. -__-

I think I pretty much believed in whatever my parents or grandparents told me. I don't remember ever doubting them when I was little.
Except when I found out that there was no toothfairy and it was my mom. happy.gif

Yeaaaaaaa, my parents were really convincing though.
:[

This reminds me of my friend Caree who told me in like, 5th grade that everytime she lost a tooth when she was little she'd get barbie clothes or something. And then she said she just then found out that her parents kept on giving her the same barbie clothes from her room everytime she lost a tooth. mellow.gif

Yeah, but thankfully they never told me anything too bad. Like the whole Babies R' Us thing. That would be horrible. When I was little, I used to believe in Santa Claus, and even when I thought there might be a chance he didn't exist, I kept on telling myself that of course he existed because I was scared I wouldn't get any presents if I didn't believe. It's all about the presents. laugh.gif
