Gap in heights., affects dating for boys? Options

We all know must of the time girls are taller because they grow faster. The thing is the height gaps are kind of big. I know one guy who is about 13/14 and he's like 4'3 and I know another girl who's about his age that's 6'1. Maybe it's because of later growth spurts for boys causing them to be so short. Short, not being a bad thing.

Do any of you feel being your height is bad when it comes to dating and the girl is taller (assuming most of you are straight)? Or do you want the girl to be the tall one? How does your height or height gaps affect your dating life?

For me, the girl has to be shorter. But I guess height makes a difference, most of the girls I know want guys who're way taller than them.

I would prefer those about 3-10 inches taller than me. If he's too tall, he is kinda ruining my self-esteem because I am pretty short...but if he's shorter than me, then I feel weird with a midgety couple.

Mine is about the same height as me, so it makes it awkward if I want to wear heels going out (which I normally do).. But it doesn't matter to me, I don't mind dating a guy that's shorter than me. Usually I don't have much of a choice since I'm 5'8", so most guys I've dated have been shorter with the exception of like one.

well, there's always girls who like short guys as well.

tall guys for short girl is pretty common.

My nutritionist told me that for girls, they gain weight first then get taller.
But as for guys, it's the opposite. They get taller then gain weight.

Also, that first guys' hands and feet are usually the first things to grow.

I must admit, I find something strangely intriguing about this subject. If a guy were to say that he only dates girls who weigh less than 110 pounds, or have a bust of at least 36C, he'd be seen as unfairly superficial; yet in our culture, it's perfectly acceptable for women to place height restrictions on dates. What does that really say?

Anyways I'm a fairly short guy about 5'6" ish and yeah it is sometimes hard to find a girl because they usually want a guy thats almost 6'0" (my school is full of tall people). Either they are tall or there really short and they literally have to jump in my face to kiss me or I have to like pick them up. Average is hard to find here.

well i'm 13 and 5'6 and a half and i really like this guy but he's only like 5'2.. so theirs a big gap,and i think he is worried about it if we start dating,but i mean i really don't care,it's mainly about their personality..his personality has me so you know forget the height.
