I'm assuming it was closed because her friends were getting out of hand with their comments, but really the topic should have been left open and they both should have gotten verbal warnings. I reopened it.
Holly, no offense, but you even joined in with them. I realize they're your RL friends and all, but we're trying to prove that as staff we aren't biased towards certain members. |

Okay.. I'm just full of complaints today. My apologies. Buuuut I don't understand why Suzette re-opened this topic when 1) Krista had already closed it 2) her justification was that this original topic is over two years old. The girl that posted the new version posted in the old one after it was closed - it should've stayed.. closed.
 Or she could've merged it, no? I don't see what the problem about old topics is.

Sure. I think it was merged by the girl who started the topic because Krista had found the link and posted it before she closed it. Hrm. And uhh.. has anyone looked in the Boys' Locker lately?

i closed it and gave the link for the other one because it was only a few pages long. and sandra had posted in it a month ago, i think. so i didn't think we should have 2 of the same topics, when one is only about 2 pages long.

It's reasonable to allow duplicate topics to be made if the previous one is really old. I guess it's not a specific rule, but if it bothers you, I can add it to the Forum Rules. |
