Well we aren't arguing how hard it is, but if it is in fact a sport. You use your legs more in soccer than you do in baseball, it doesn't mean one is anymore of a sport than another. |

Yes, but I was asking the other person because she made a statement pertaining to only marching and leaving up out the instrument thus ignoring the upper part strength needed to perform.

^ You're right. They don't only use their legs.. They play the instrument with their hands. So yes, they do use their whole body.
She also probably wouldn't know that the entire force of the sound you have to produce comes from your stomach mostly. |
