I saw it and it was a letdown. It really wasn't that scary and I don't like the way it was shot. I walked out before it was over.

watched it
not scary at all creepy pics creepy scenes but not scary it's actually just a movie about a trial whether the excorsits of emily rose (the priest) should be sent to jail or not those clips of emily are mere flashbacks |

I think a lot of you are underrating the movie. The whole point is that it COULD BE real, that's why they filmed it as a court case and as flashbacks.

^ But there was two REAL possiblities. Did you get that out of the movie. I think skeptics and believers alike could agree that it showed a good amount of both sides.

.. What a very UNSCARY movie. It gets tedious. I was scared during the beginning but then it got.. NON scary lol. Wow and usually movies scare me a lot.
But then again, I also found the chainsaw massacre movie unscary. Even if it's true, The Grudge is waaayyy scarier. The trailer was kinda scary, but only the parts from the trailer were actually scary.. Yea. |

it scared the hell out of me. i woke up at 3 in the morning the night after i saw it.. and you know what happened in the movie at 3, so i was really creeped out.

I've been watching this everytime it's on HBO. The scenes are fun, but the movie wasn't that good. Or scary. I liked that it was based on Anneliese Michel, but would've liked it much more if the movie was about her, rather than a priest and a lawyer. That just annoyed me. Meh.

wow ....what a coincidence .....just by scanning through the E forum and seeing this topic it scared the heck out of me . i just watched it 5 minutes ago ...i turned it off right before the Dr got killed . but yea , this movie is great for skeptics and non-believers ...you can even tell during the testimonies and conversations how the demons where taking part on the trial . if your smart enough to understand that is
 ...and yea....im kinda a believer myself since i was raised as Roman Catholic . My parents believe in excorsism and spiritual anamolies as well .
