How do you use brushes with gradients ?
I know how with text but I don`t get it with using brushes. any help is appreciated. |

Err. Go to the 'Layer Style' of the brush you used and change the gradient?

What layer style of the brush ?
When I use the brush and click LAYER-LAYER STYLE it doesn`t let me use the tool. |

have you tried Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options > Gradient Overlay? you can always just double-click the layer with the brush you used to go to your blending options
