One of Kikyou's themes I forgot what it called, "Beautiful memories", and Sotsugyou or Sotsugyou Sayonara which was played during ep. 124 of Inuyasha. I can't think of anymore now.

I believe around the time with Haku and his death. Even though this is kinda like an necro/revived thread, I like "Uninstall" by Chiaki Ishikawa from the anime "Bokurano". I've never watched it before, but the lyrics are pretty depressing. I just happened to stumble across the song randomly one day. x]

"The Real Folk Blues" from Cowboy Bebop is beautiful, and I associate it with a gloomy feeling. If you've ever heard it played on a piano, you'll know why it makes me cry, haha.
Rem's song from Trigun is also a very serene and pretty song, though I don't know if it'd classify as sad. In the anime, there's sad feeling associated with it, but the song itself is kind of cheerful. |
