okay...so i've left my old vexel and started yet again another vexel. -_-;
this is what i have so far...not much. but it took me a while on that eye. i know, you might think it looks a bit dark on the white part. but when i looked at it with the original picture, it looked just like the other eye. i also did the hair base. not much there....just outlining the hair. i have made a pact - i WILL finish this. in less than 7 days. because that's when my trial of illustrator ends....-_- i WILL prevail! *shakes fist* darn you, illustrator! When I first saw this it scared me for a second. Nice job! Love the eye.

eee, i love the eye its so pretty, could you like zoom in on it and take a screen shot of it or something? Perhaps?
I think it looks great so far though I can't wait to see it once its done.

Seems like a great start, the eye looks awesome. But something about the eyelashs makes it ugly...
 maybe you should draw another eyelash to fill in the gap?

the eye looks wierd and like other said its realistic ... but in other ways it looks fake
 ... i think it looks wierd maybe because you have eyelashes going one way and then its switched to the other way ... and what is she straining to look at that she has to cut her eyes so hard ... that kinna looks funny too ... but i do give u props i couldn't do it ... good job

Guys, the eyes will obviously look weird by themselves right now because there's nothing to compare it with. When you think of an eye, you know that it's white. But in comparison with the picture, an eye can be on the yellow side as long as the rest of the image is yellow, also. So I'd wait until she's done some skin before pointing that out. =)
I like the eye so far, but try working on the eyelashes. Are you using the pen tool for that? |
