Ok. I guess it's about time that I give my opinion on the moderators' performance.

Now, I would like to congratulate Suzzette and Dani on their activeness and performance as mods. Suzzette has been one of the most active mods on the People Staff. Dani has also been quite active and I have seen her clean up some of the recent spam fests. I've been talking to her and it's clear that she's been making room in her life to help out Createblog.

I have also been thinking that more active People Staff such as Suzzette should be promoted to Head Staff. She's recently been even more active and helpful than some of the current Head Staff. Also, the Head Staff besides Dani are not really active in the Community Center, seeing how they come from Design Staff. So a Head Staff coming from People would probably helpful since most of the spam, etc, comes from the Community Center.

I would worry more about the quality of the mods rather than quantity.

I think we should have more active mods.

yes, but quantity is important as well. the best mod in the world can tbe on all of the time.

But what if we just mod more people that can't be on and are inactive?

( That wasn't a suggestion sweating.gif )

And Juna, how freaky. blink.gif I used that line earlier.
Who?

well, then you demod them and try again, dont you. one would think that would be common sense.

and even if you dont demod them, and increase in the number of mods, even if they werent SUPER active should lead to an increase in overall activity.

As Suzzette said, an official hiring session will come soon. Kiera and I are still working on specific mods who are very inactive and asking them to step down or they will be demodded if need be. Seeing as we need more active mods, both quality and quantity count. That's why Arjuna and Krista were modded at this moment. (James, I know you asked this in the moderator changes thread.)

As for remodding Nicki, she'll have to start from the bottom again because it's been a while since she was a mod. It's only fair since that is how everyone starts off.

I suppose I should explain why I've been inactive for a while. These past couple of weeks, I've had a lot going on dealing with college, hospital, and family business. But I have been doing more since I got back.

I don't see anyone at all that is very active in the Xanga forums. But the popularity of Xanga has gone down quite a bit...

right....it's not really popular. the only things posted in the xanga forums are layouts and questions. reili always answers all of the questions. and any of us could comment on layouts.

I guess I will go ahead and announce that Christina decided to step down a while ago and become a Mentor. However, admins can't touch another admin's account in the Admin CPU so I wasn't able to edit her account so Jusun will have to do it. I didn't want annouce it until everything with that issue was taken care of but since people keep asking.....

x2 Mentor a situation when needed and we can go to them for advice.

I guess resigning from her position and moving up to be a mentor is a better way to word it.
