You never know. They can have some condition where they can't help but be obese. And you shouldn't judge someone by their weight. They can be 100 tons and still have an awesome personality.

Yes i agree, a person does not matter what they look on the outside; its the inside that counts

I agree with Azarel on this topic.

The thing I hate is the whole, "FAT IS BEAUTIFUL" thing. I feel like it promotes obesity, thus promoting an unhealthy lifestyle. Gets on my nerves. Unless you have some disorder/disease, that contributes to you not being able to work out and being obese, etc. Then there should be no excuse to not stay active. People have just become TOO lazy.

What is with the billion articles about obesity these days? It's like, YES WE GET IT. AMERICA IS OBESE. FRANCE IS SKINNY. STFU ALREADY. I think that obese people know whether or not they're fit.

Maybe, but I've read numerous articles that specify FRANCE in particular as a "skinny" country. This is why I'm getting sick and tired of it.

Wtf do you want them to tell obese people ?

OBESE PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE TOO , seriously.

think about it , if you wanted obese people to be dead , half of america would be gone , there are some people who cannot help being fat , they excersize and excersize and they have very little weight loss , WHAT YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND is that its not your damn problem , if you dont like obese people dont look at them.

I hope you get HUGE.

dammit , ignorance is spreading.

Theres a difference between Obese people and anorexic people ( obviously ) , the difference is that anorexic people werent born with anorexia , some obese people have that gene , thats my point.

I understand Justin , if the person gets huge by not excersizing and eating like a pig , but people with that gene is a wholllee different story.

Did anyone even bother to read my entire post? I said that it promotes an UNHEALTHY LIFESTYLE. I'm not sayin' that they should become anorexic because that too is UNHEALTHY. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm trying to help them avoid getting diabetes, heart disease, and help them from dying young as well. Most obese people have an eating disorder, just like anorexia, and they need help. So telling them to work out and eat healthy is a bad thing? I'm sorry Emmaliev but you're wrong. I never stated I wanted them DEAD, nor did I state that ALL of them are lazy. Learn to read an entire post before making assumptions.

And how is this even relevent to the topic at hand?

Okay, so my earlier posts in this thread are cruel and heartless, I admit - but most obese Americans are overweight by choice, not by genetics. I did say that I knew that some obese people couldn't help their genetics, and I feel a slight pang of guilt and regret when I laugh about some of them. But, seriously, a lot of obese people can't blame it on their genes - they can only blame it on themselves for stuffing their faces with burgers and fries.

I suggest you kids read Brandon's entry: You're a Fatass and It's Your Fault. It sums things up nicely.

Not to sound cold-hearted or anything, but it's the person's fault that they're obese. Yeah, sure, there are some people that have diseases that makes you gain weight no matter what and stuff, but what about those other people that go to McDonalds everyday? What about those people that never take their time to exercise? What about those people that choose to stay home and play video games all day? Besides, if the people cared so much about their health, then why do they never get up their asses to exercise regularly? Hm? I think most of these obese people know what could happen if they eat McDonalds everyday and don't exercise, but they're the ones choosing to ignore it and not try to do a damn thing about it. See, I don't think there would be as many obese people today if they tried doing something about their lazy habit.

do try to lose weight? maybe, they're not trying hard enough.

eating healthy, low calories, and working out is the key.
