uhh..i go to the salon. its about 10-ish dollars and it doesnt really hurt. your eyebrow area will probably get red and sore for a few hours, though.

I go to Hair Cuttery.. I go around the same time that I would go to get my hair cut, so I get my eyebrows waxed first, then they would cut my hair... and by the time they're done with my haircut the redness is gone. Since it would be your first time.. it will probably be sore and red. They usually put aloe on it or you can put ice on it at home. It does look nice if they do it right. There are also nail places you can get your eyebrows done at.

DO IT!

It's the best $10 bucks I ever spent! It'll be a little uncomfortable at first. But after a few more visits...and the beautiful outcome...it's worth the little pain for beauty. biggrin.gif

i went to the hair cuttery near my place and they screwed up my eyebrows. _dry.gif they were so uneven. I liked threading because it came out cleaner. Personally I think threading hurts more just because it's more than one pain at a time? I dont know.. and waxing is just one swift pain... confusing. pinch.gif

after you have it waxxed once, do you pluck it when it grows back or do you go back to the salon at times??

but.. how do i tell my mom???

she hasnt gotten hers waxxed yet..

she plucks them..

so when we go, i think we can both get them done..

when did you guys get them waxed? what age?

i just got mine waxed yesterday. as most people have sad, it doesn't hurt that much. and surprisingly, my eyebrows didn't get sore and red.

i got mine done at a Bubbles Salon and it was only 15 bucks, and you get a free compact. and they did a pretty good job too. especially because i'm lazy and i hate doing my own eyebrows.

I get them done when I get a facial. It might the hurt the first couple times, but you get used to it after that. It's much faster and easier than plucking, so it's definitely worth it.

i'm *addicted* to getting my eyebrows waxed.
i get them done at least every 6-8 weeks.
for me, eyebrow waxing doesn't hurt at all... it just makes my eyes water.
it's sooo worth it and it feels so clean afterwards!
mine do end up being a bit red after, but it goes away if you use some acne cream that you can buy at a salon (it's called stilligel).

Oh God. I've had mine done once or twice at a salon... and i'll never do it again.

They always make my eyebrows too thin, or shape them wrong. mellow.gif

I got mine done a few weeks ago and loved it! It wasn't as painful as I had anticipated and it was only ten dollars. It took maybe 5 minutes and lasted for a while.

I got mine first done when I was like 13 or something, and the first time, I thought it hurt like hell. And I really didn't want to go back, but then when I saw that they looked good, I figured, screw it. And now, I'm used to it, and I just flinch whenever I get them done.
