When it comes to clothes or shoes, would you rather have a bunch of cheap stuff or few expensive stuff?

few expensive stuff. i mean, you can have a lot of something but they may not be up to par on quality, therefore it would be pointless.

A bunch of cheap stuff. I can find some really cute clothes with good material and everything for really low prices. My whole wardrobe is pretty much 20 dollars and less. I'm a Ross/Goodwill/TJ Maxx/Kohl's sale sort of person. I don't buy tops unless they're less than 8 dollars.

In any case, I go for quality.
'Cause expensive stuff isn't ALWAYS the better buy, in terms of quality. There are some exceptions.

I'll splurge on less trendy clothes because I'll probably wear them for a much longer time. Stuff like jeans, pants, jackets, bags, etc.

For tops, I prefer to buy less expensive stuff as trends come and go, and same goes for smaller accessories.

However, I'll never buy stuff that's extremely cheap and has crappy material, because no matter how much you love it and its price, if it wears out, you'll never be able to wear it again.

it depends. would i rather have 1 pair of seven for all mankind jeans or 3 pairs of hollister jeans? i'd probably rather have the hollister jeans.

then again, 10 walmart purses or 1 coach bag? probably the coach bag. however, i'm not going to lie and pretend i'm all rich and haute couture in every situation, so it really depends.

for shirts/tops, quantity. cheap stuff. i hate having to wear the same shirt twice in one month.
for sandals, bags, underwear, quantity with a little quality. kinda cheap but not too cheap.
for jeans & sneakers, quality. don't pay attention to prices.

I go either way. Sometimes I refuse to pay more than $15 dollars for a shirt and sometimes I spend $200 on jeans. I think it depends on my mood that day.

Just because a product cost a lot doesnt mean that it has quality, alot of my close are inexpensive and theyve lasted longer then some of my more expensive stuff.. but for me its mostly in the middle not too cheap and not too expensive
