Well, we have a Graphics Help, Graphics Request, Graphics Showcase...well..why not graphic resources?
A lot of people make icon bases, textures, brushes so why not have an area devoted to that? Thoughts..preferably from graphic people? |

actually thats not a bad idea.
i always itch to make an icon or whatever but always have trouble deciding what i want my base/inspiration to be. |

Gimme a minute, I'm trying to get them all uploaded and posted to me LJ.
Give it time. I'm sure a lot of people will like this idea. And if time doesn't work, then, really big bold red font in my sig will.

No. They would be hosted elsewhere. Prolly DA.
Brush files are a LOT of space. Mainly I'd want this area just to share resources among eachother. |

I'm up for it, I'm sure it would help a lot of people as well. I'm sure people will enjoy it as well. Its just a matter of taking it on and having it all organized and such. And then having to get people to upload everything and etc.

I've wondered about this ever since cB3 came out but the problem was having tons of textures/brushes/gradients/etc. would overkill the server. But if they will be hosted some other place like deviantART (which is extremely reliable), then yay, that's great. But since this won't hosted on the cB server, what did you have in mind? (As in how it would be set up and how to access it...)

Well, there are plenty of other ways to host things. Imageshack, Deviant art, etc etc etc
I thought that the title would be whatever the resource was, and then there would be a "teaser" image, with then a link to download. DeviantArt takes forever to upload anything, and there are other places where you can put up zip files. |
