Is anyone else like that? You see a long post in a topic and you don't bother to read it. I don't see why people write essay like post on a blog. It happens a lot in the relationships forum.

No. I read long posts when I can. Hell, I've even read those really, really old topics in the Locker Rooms out of boredom -- you know, the 20-30 page topics? Yeah, and a few of the debate topics as well. I really don't mind long posts as long as it makes sense and has a point to it at least half-way through.

Me too..unless it's a topic that I know something about or whatever, I usually don't bother reading or replying to those topics.

I'm lazy like that. pinch.gif

Depends on the post itself. If its like 23972837109 pages full of stuff no one can understand, then no. If it's interesting, then sure, I don't mind reading it.

well it depends on what its about, i remember at times when i actually do read a long topic, i find myself thinking "why the hell did i even read that" especially in relationships.

so yeah, alot of the long topics arent even interesting enough to be worth my time. sorry.
and just because they're long doesnt necessarily mean they're more intelligent.

i don't understand why people would go to the internet to tell people about their problems. i just read other people's post and see what the topic is about

People just aren't good at making paragraphs. When I see a whole block of words, I don't like reading it. When I see short paragraphs, it's a lot easier to read.

I only read the relationship forums when I feel like helping someone. And when I feel like helping someone, I would read anything. Except that big block of words, of course.

I can read long posts. If I see a long post, I give it a chance. If the first paragraph is boring then I decide to ignore it and just go away. Long posts aren't my favorite anyways D: Another thing that would make me avoid long posts is if they repeat the same exact ideas all the time.. that's just pointless

I only read long posts if they are posted by:
Any of the staff, Nate, Michael, Kathleen, and Libi.
That is it.. usually. Unless its in an extremely interesting topic.. then I read everything. _smile.gif
