That after last night's spam fest, people have started posting more, and the lounge looks pretty active.

Not only this spam fest, but also spam fests in the past.

It is pretty active now. I like. Of course, I have to go in like 5 minutes (woohoo bowling with small children), and most of the topics aren't interesting me, but nevertheless it's nice.

Ok, that may be true.

However, after every "spam fest," it seems that there is a "recovery" stage. Everyone talks about the last spam fest, how much they hate spam, how much they love spamming, etc.

During this "recovery" stage, cB seem very active.

So I'm thinking that, every once in awhile, perhaps a spam fest is actually good for cB.
No spammers, I am not telling you it is ok to spam. Please don't spam.

Just a thought, of course.

Yes, and that's why I still don't support spam.

It was just something I noticed.

Of course, there are better ways to keep the cB members interested.

Though spamming is frowned upon, and the mods are working pretty damned hard, it is a lot more active and alive. It's been pretty dead lately.
