I first had a crush on a girl in preschool. my first crush on a guy was in kindergarten.
I used to deny my feelings for girls by saying I had feelings for guys. I didnt know about bisexuality at the time. I was a major homophobe until I was in 7th grade..... mostly because I had homosexual feelings. I was terrified of them. I used anything against them. religion, common beliefs of it not being natural... whatever. and then I got over my homophobia and just tried to accept gays and live as a nice little straight girl. but I was always attracted to other girls.... and finally, in 9th grade, I came out as a bisexual. since then, I've had two of the most amazing girlfriends, and one amazing boyfriend. I am straight. However I think that if you hang around your own sex too much then you may feel that you are attracted to them but it is really a feeling of campanionship. For example, if you are a girl and have mostly girl friends you may look for the personality you want in a girl instead of a guy. Guys and girls sometimes have counterparts. Like a boy may have the same personality as a girl. So if you look towards a girl then maybe you might thing you are bi or gay/lesbian. However this is only my opinion.

BUT NOT THAT WAY. haha. anyways, a lot of girls are bi or lesbian and im sure that this is the main reason why. i noticed that once they got out of my highschool, they werent bi or lesbian anymore. they just thought they were.
