Hmm, that's odd. I don't do that, and I hate drinking ice w/ soda too, because it melts after awhile and makes my drink all nasty and blecch. Like soda pop with water.
My cousin does that I think, and he also mixes different sodas together to make one of his soda supremes.

In a beverage, if you have ice in it, ice is really WATER right? If you eat the ice, you'll really have drank water too as WELL as your beverage. Like soda. Or something. >_>;
Uh.. to answer the question.. no I don't drink water with soda IF it doesn't have ice with it.
