pictures showing up distorted, please help! |

i put up a new layout today (/starsareblind). since this layout is narrow, i had to take down a lot of photos i had up. i decided to make 60x60 thumbnails for them, so that i'd at least be able to link to them from my page. when i post the thumbnails on the left side (under general, music, movies, etc.) they show up normal. but when i put them in the about me column (where i want them to go), they automatically show up resized at about 100x100, really distorted and pixelated. i'm not sure if it's something in the codes that can be taken out or not. anybody have any ideas? i'd be eternally grateful for any help, even if you could point me in some sorta direction of where to get help.

ah, forgot about that, i'm sorry. trying to get into the account settings page now, it's lagging a bit. also adding a couple pictures too, so you can see what i'm talking about.

From the picture of your layout, it seems like the font is small. I think it may have something to do with the font of the layout. Make the font bigger and see what happens to the pictures.

i went ahead and gave it a try, but it didn't change anything for some reason. i thought it could be the font too. but the pictures show up normal on the columns on the left side of the page, just not when i put them in the sections on the right.

Take out this part of the code :
td.text a img { width: 100px} td.text td.text a img { width: 50px;} should fix the pictures. The font wouldn't edit pictures though. That code most likely did it because well , it always messed up stuff for me too. It could be another one, but try that. |
