I have no idea if this was previously posted, and I doubt searching would do anything due to 'ska' being three letters long.

What is/are your favorite ska band/s?

Currently, I'm quite fond of Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto, though Streetlight is a bit less ska-ish.

Reel Big Fish, Save Ferris, and old No Doubt are about as ska as I get these days. I was fairly into it a couple of years ago...

Hepcat, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Rx Bandits, The Specials, and Evil Empire. I tend to enjoy most rock steady.

I am not really into to ska, more ska-punk I'd say?
Rancid, Operation Ivy, & Sublime [sometimes]
oh yes, The Aquabats are pretty wicked too.

Yeah a lot of the "ska" bands I listen to.. are considered punk at times. It's so confusing. pinch.gif

Reviving this topic because I was going through some old music and found a bunch of ska stuff from back when it was all I listened to. Really, I can't get into much ska before the "third wave" stuff showed up, but I have a few bands to add to the list:

- The Forces of Evil
- The Hippos
- Less than Jake

People have already mentioned Rancid, Sublime, and The Aquabats.
