Oh my God. Filipinos are asian too because it is in Asia and it is labeled as being in the continent ASIA. It's the same stupid thing with people from Taiwan calling themselves Taiwanese and not Chinese. Taiwan is in CHINA so you are CHINESE.
It's that simple. I mean, it's okay to call yourself Taiwanese (I guess, but why?) or Pacific Islander (then the Japanese should be able to call themselves that too) but it's stupid to deny you're chinese or asian. The people just want to have their own "name" instead of just being classified as asian. |
