Yeah. Mine neither. All we have to wear is either a blue or white button down shirt, and grey pants. It was worse last year cause we were made to wear ties. It wasn't bad, but just a hastle to remember it everyday. Glad school is almost out. SCHOOOOOOLLLLLLSSS OUT FOR SUMMER! SCHOOOOOOOLLLLLLS OUT FOREVER!

haha that really sucks.

We just can't wear anything supporting drinking, drugs, or anything racist or sexist.

I'm ok with the dress code because I could understand why they wouldn't want anyone dressing like a slut, but it angers me when I can't wear a band shirt because apparently it has "negative statements."

okay.
I seriousely never had a dress code "problem" untill I moved to Tennessee.
it pisses me off, because I'm the only kid they ever catch.
I like wearing my shirts.
okay.
is it a crime?
no.
all my shirts are either band shirts,a tim burton movie shirt,or just have a rad picture that I liked.
I can't wear them unless I wanna get in trouble.
well psh,
I never cared.
so obviousely the prinicpal hated me most.
I always refused to tuck it in.
I always wore a belt though,
becuase I like my belts.
I go to a school where the entire population of students are the same.
they shop at the same stores,
the have the same favorite band.
it's like clones everywhere.
god forbid a kid like me walk through those doors.
they made FIVE new rules of dress code BECAUSE half of what they were telling me wasn't writtien in the agenda book, and technically I was at liberty to where the things I wanted to wear.
.....those assfucks.

dress codes are good because it prevents all those sluts from wearing bikini tops close to summer..people did that last year so they had to make adjustments when it came to dress codes.

My school doesn`t really care as long as skirts are only 2 inches above the knee and shirts don`t show much.

I actually don't think dress codes are that terrible
it'd be awesome to see people dressed nicely
not tight tight shirts and lowww skirts
and baggy clothes
ughhh

Hmm. Well some of my school's dress code is alright. 'Cept some are just plain stupid. I'll name the ones I actually like:

1) No short mini-skirts for the girls/No short shorts for the girls
Thank God. I hate those slutty short mini-skirts and those short shorts.

2) No..sagging? (That's what it's called? When guys let their pants to see their underwear?)
I hate it personally. I love this rule. They have to wear a belt too haha! laugh.gif This sucks for the guys.

There is alot more that I love. But I do hate some of the rules:

1) No hats.
Like ooomg like some 13-year-old girl/boy is gonna have drugs or something in their hat. Oh yeah. I personally adore hats and I wear them sometimes. I can't wear them because of this stupid rule.

2) No t-shirts with marker writing on them.
Wdf? Why not? This rule was pointless.

3) No torn jeans. Not even little bitty holes.
I don't understand this. Why not? Dang, might as well ban blue t-shirts. If you do, I will hate you. Blue is my favorite color fyi. :]

I hate alot more. I think I explained myself well enough.

it depends... if the dress code's not TOO restricting, it's fine with me. and it's nice to know that schools are promoting modesty. but i wish we were allowed to wear spaghetti straps though, cuz sometimes it gets wayyy too hot.

what really bugged me once was how this school supervisor lady made my friend change once because her shirt said 'blondes do it better', when everyone (but that lady) knew it wasn't suggestive.

^ lol wow, I wonder what that lady was thinking.

Anyways, dress codes wouldn't be so bad if most schools didn't make them so damn strict.

I hate strict dress codes or uniforms. You're forced to stay there for 6-7 hours of your time, and they TELL you what to wear, too? I mean, why can't they just say "dress appropriate", and that's it?

They're banning freedom of expression hammer.gif

I don't really mind it, it's not bad I guess. I always hear my friends complaining about uniform all the time though. If I went to public school I think I'd run outta clothes to wear and mix up, cus you know people would be like, "Hey, didn't you wear that yesterday?" So yeah, that's one of the reasons why I don't mind it lol.

I've never had a problem with the dress codes.
I never wear shorts or like mini skirts and if I do i usually have leggings under them..

I wear jeans and t-shirt all the time as well.
