so im reading the girl who loved tom gordon for summer reading, im on page 64 but i haven't read it in a while. i picked it up last night to finish and i just couldn't do it; it's just so f**king boring! i even skipped to page 170 only to find out she's still in the goddamn woods!!
does it get better? how do you make yourself read a book you dont want to? tons self discipline? |

 I liked that book. I thought it got better.. If I find myself reading a book I don't want to (which is very rare), I just.. don't read it.

i went to the library to renew it and i cant because someone has it on request so i only have two days to finish reading it, damn

i had to read a book for summer reading one time that i found utterly boring and pointless. i picked it up about three times (and barely getting past the first chapter) before making myself finish it. i told myself that i absolutely had to finish reading it unless i wanted to die once school started. it took me about four hours to finish it. then again, it was a short book.
 it never got any more interesting.so, i guess the point to all of this is: if you try hard enough, it can be done!
