I have to admit... Spam is fun when I'm doing it... but not fun when other people are doing it and I'm not in on it.

I'm torn on the issue.

i blame bad topics.

if i see a topic like
"what's your favorite color" or something where people just post one word answers, it's like... an instinct for me to spam and inject some life into the thread.

I agree. I mean, I know I'm guilty of it at times, but even in threads like those I purposely attempt conversation, but ehh I give up. It's like that a lot. Even with regular topics, no one actually converses. They read the first post, answer/reflect, then post, not even giving a single thought of previous posts. Meh. I've been ranting about this for awhile. I guess I just felt like being a broken record.
