I'm actually pretty ok with myself. I can't stand my hamstrings/butt though. Or how my nose looks when I smile. But that's about it.

I also have eczema. But it's not enough to make me self-conscious, maybe because I've had it all my life & have learned to live w/ it. I had it really bad in the crooks of my arms & I got medicine stuff for that. But I wouldn't use that for my face because... it's my face. Use Eucerin. It's just lotion, not medicated or anything. It's just really good for sensitive skin & really moisturizing. Don't use it where it's not reAlly dry though, it will end up looking oily. I but I put a ton on my messed up spots before I go to sleep & during the night it soaks in & I am fixed.
Anyhow, I'm self conscious not because I think I'm fat or ugly or whatever other kind of nonsense, but because I'm constantly comparing myself to others. It doesn't matter if I'm skinny, I've gotta be skinnier than some other person. Or prettier. Or smarter. Or nicer. And that's no good, I know. |

It doesn't matter if I'm skinny, I've gotta be skinnier than some other person. Or prettier. Or smarter. Or nicer. And that's no good, I know. for the most part the eczema has cleared on my face (YAAY), only.. now i have these weird spots where it was.. like my skin is a lighter tone in those areas than my actual face color is. foundation & stuff doesn't work. I've also had eczema all my life, & i've learned to live with it as well. i think the biggest reason why i have a problem with it on my face is because the stupid boys in fifth grade used to always make fun of me for it. (now i'm in 10th grade.. so that was a while ago but i can't let things go) now if one thing is wrong on my face i have a shit attack ![]() really bad quality of mine. |

sometimes i'm self-conscious about certain things (like how my hair looks, how my outfit looks, my weight, etc) but i think that everyone is self-conscious about something
the thing is, you just shouldn't really make a big deal out of it. If people think it doesn't bother you, then it won't bother them. |

yeah, i get REALLY self conscious & insecure, especially when im with this one guy, who has always been impressing me ever since i've known him... (about 2 years?). he always asks me why i get so nervous, haha. it's pretty embaressing. i get like that because i don't want to mess up & say something wrong, & i don't want to look stupid or ugly or something. yeah, when people stare at one of my body parts or like something on my face, i get really really uncomfortable haha.

I think every person sometimes feel at one point in their life uncomfortable in their own skin. Even when people like to admit or not, we all have our flaws. It's just the way you deal with them. If you don't let it get to you, you'll be just fine. It's just a normal part of every person's life basically.

I'm really self conscious. It's mostly with my weight and my nose.

There are days when I'm more self-conscious than others...we all have insecurities though. But yeah, I can be sometimes...I've gotten a lot better though. I can be about my stomach sometimes, because I constantly am wishing it was better...and my legs when I'm in a bathing suit sometimes...but I get over it. *shrug* As long as I'm not surrounded by mirrors, I'm not toooo bad...

I really hate mirrors.
I'm one of those girls that is constantly checking herself in the mirror to see if there's anything wrong with my make-up, something in my teeth, a patch of dry skin that needs moisturizing, how does my butt look in these jeans. It's absolutely horrid. I cannot stop myself. |
