It's been a month since I broke up with my ex-gf. everyday i told myself she's not the right one and bla bla bla.... I threw pix, chats, stuffs away..and listen to love musics to forget her. I believed that I can be friends with her. But then just a few minutes ago, she IMed me saying "happy late birthday" My heart suddenly trumbled and beats really fast! I talk to a lot of girls and she's the only one who make it beats fast like that. It's very very weird! My mind have forgotten her but my heart still remembers. I don't know what to do, it's a lot harder then I thought to be friends with.

i think it takes way longer then a month to get over someone, even if you were the one doing the breaking up, for whatever reason. i find it helps if there arent any left over hard feelings that werent resolved. give it time.

it takes time..Your going to feel a lot and sad perhaps but you can throw away all the stuff that ever made you think about her or that was given from her, but you can't just forget about her just like that.

Lifes liek that when we believe we are deeply in love or was then things won't give in lightly. Just forgive yourself that you can't forget her. I mean when you truely believe to yourself that things are different than it will be gone. Don't force it by throwing memories away.
