@ Kathleen:
Exactly. Lol. Anyways, try thinking of Johnny Depp and you'll fall asleep immediately. EDIT// There's even an ad about Narnia. |

Benjamin Frankin's autobiography literally put me to sleep everytime I picked it up two summers ago, when I practically was an insomniac.

i've been diagnosed with insomnia. and, no. no valerian root. i've tried lunesta, ambien, and now i take sedatives every night mixed with a very heavy dose of allergy medicine. it's the only way for me to sleep. i haven't been able to sleep naturally on my own, at night, for about 4 years.

Oh wow. I mean... I think I might have it; what are some symptoms? Should I just go see my doctor about it or would I go to someone else? |

uh. the biggest symptom would probably be...not being able to sleep!? yeah. that seems right. anxiety at night, falling asleep, but waking up a lot during the night. waking up and not feeling rested at all. etc. etc.
i went to my normal plain old doctor for it. she wasn't all that helpful, though. she was hesitant to prescribe the sleeping pills because of my history of drug addiction and blah blah blah. but, she did it anyway. and when lunesta didn't do anything. at all. for me, we tried ambien. and i had the same experience, pretty much. so we decided that the root cause of the insomnia was my anxiety problems. so, we started talking about sedatives. she started me on a super low dose. which...did nothing and i ended up going through the entire script in less than 3 days. so, she upped my dose 3 times. and now it...still isn't working. but, i'm scared to bring it up to her because she's already about ready to take me off all and any medications i'm on. doctors. i hate them. the end. |

about a year ago, i had trouble falling asleep also. i didn't fall asleep until around the afternoon. it was during the summer though, so it wasn't too bad. my sleeping habits during the summer are horrible. i've never been able to go more than a day with no sleep. |

I fall asleep really quickly when I'm tired and I sleep like a log, whether I'm tired or not.

But Kathleen's insomnia is TOO much. Not even sex can do the job. Wait a second, if she should fxck me, I'm sure she'll go to bed really quickly.

i heard having sex will make you tired and go to sleep. Actually, it can also make you a little spunky. And I hate insomnia. I've sort of battled it for many years, well, seems like forever really. A former boss of mine who was a neuro-biologist kept telling me that I had to jumpstart my circadian rhythm. Um.. it didn't work. I've still yet to manage to get myself back into a normal day/night schedule. Oh well. |
