Blogring vs. Xangans/cB Options

i remember all the jocking of cB layouts by blogring members. when i joined, it was after i joined cB (i don't remember why). at the time i joined, which was late 2004?, there was a HUGE problem with jocking. like a person would post up a layout and be like, "I made it!" and then 30 minutes late, someone would be like, "Jocker! It's from cB!" or "Jocker! You stole the script!"

i came back here because unlike over there, 1 out 4 layout isn't jocked.

Haha, that site is so horrrible now... well, it always was. I registered there a long time ago, but I found it boring and it was really hard to navigate around the site. Yes, I remember the feud too. I was a mod here when everyone on the staff had a huge grudge against blogring. We all hated their guts and I remember reading the topics on it. I don't care anymore though; they are in no competition if they're up against us.

I'm encouraging the staff to take a less aggresive approach when it comes to topics. I want you, the community, to have free reign of ideas, and to express them, however you see fit, no matter how good you are with words or not. Remember, we're all part of the same family, and I want to see my family healthy and happy.

and the 30,000 post thing. there is some kid on there with the username "lord spencer" (no, its not me) who has over 27,000 posts.

Technically, Createblog is better, and I'll be the first to admit that. Your layout collection is astounding. Our site is disorganized, I know, but there's little I can do to change that.

As for the highest poster, that's me. I have 39,134 posts, and no, my posts don't lack quality. Most of our high post counts are developed in secret societies-- hidden little forums with selective membership.

And no, Mike is no longer an admin, and neither is John. Mike sold the forum to the highest bidder and John resigned.
