Should I Keep Waiting For Her Or Forget It? Options

Well. It been a year since me and her got together and we went out for about a few weeks until something happened that ended our relationship.

I still had feelings for her over the year but we kept it in a friend relationship (even thought I tried to ask her out another time but that turned out bad when she had to choice between me and this other guy and she choice the other guy).

Well. About a month or so ago, she told me that she been waiting for me to ask her out for about a week (after we been spending time together and all). So I ask her out right there but since then, we still haven't gotten together in a relationship way. It been a month and im still thinking about whether to continue to wait for her or just forget her. I also liked her and cared about her and been their for her when she needed me and she knows that.

I thinking the problem is that she afraid of having a relationship with me again because of a reason I have no idea what it is. I ask around and seems, she been asking her best friend and her brother whether to or not go out with me and yet, when I bring the subject up, she just doesn't give me a honest yes or no answer.

So what should I do? Continue to wait or just forget it and just ignore her.
Im afraid of one thing, that I would lose her to another guy and my last chance with her be gone.
