I don't get why so many people hate hip hop and it's rap music. I came here to murk this thread and show y'all the real VIEW.. I'm pretty sure they hate it based on their lyrical content. I've even heard comments from some people saying "RAP ISN'T MUSIC" .. let me explain it this way .. I don't know if I should consider rap to be music, because artists don't really need to understand the 'theory of music' to be a rapper .. But you still have to have some talent to write rhyme schemes, lyrics, 16's, multi's .. writing is a huge role in rap music. RAP = Rythym & Poetry. Moving on to another topic, people have been screamin "OMG I HATE RAP ALL THEY TALK ABOUT IS HOES AND DRUGS LIKE 50 CENT HAHA" .. umm stfu? I look into hip hop in both ways. The "high-class" side and the "low-class" side. Notice how so many rappers are entering the game with no talent at all, yet they're still selling records?
