I've lived in Japan for my whole life and I'm full Japanese... yet I've never listened to those bands, hahaha. Funny.

ELLEGARDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hahahaaaaa. They are better than all of you. (I guess they could be counted as Indie.....or J-punk. They are rock, but they aren't J-rock, which is totally different from regular rock, don't you agree?)

Um....And High and Mighty Color. AKFG. =] Remio Romen! As for pop...umm....whatever sounds nice. I like w-inds (a little). KAT-TUN is okay. But those boy bands are more for my friend. =_=

ELLEGARDEN IS THE BEST =]

YEAH ELLEGARDEN!!!!

I listened to one of Orange Range's song. And the Tokyo Drift song!

My ex boyfriend's friend was the main character from one of Orange Range's music video. He just kept running around.

Yes, I like J-rock a lot too. It's one of my favorite genres of music.

Solo artists:
+ Gackt
+ a little Miyavi
+ BoA (I know she's Korean but she sings in Japanese too :])
+ a bit of Utada Hikaru
+ very little Yui

Bands:
+ Porno Graffiti
+ L'Arc~en~Ciel
+ Malice Mizer
+ Gazette
+ Alice Nine

I didn't know that Orange Range rapped. English rap is bad enough as it is so I don't like Asian rap at all. >.<

Yea yea I do listen to Utada Hikaru from time to time, but I'm mainly a big fan of her older songs (i.e. First Love, Give Me A Reason)

J-Pop-Rock:
Move

They've been around for quite some time and I've only gotten into them sometime last year since my boyfriend listened to them. They're awesome. :D

^ Look up the lyrics. There should be a romaji version along with English translations.
