I took this tutorial over it, and this is what I got out of it.
Before  After  I did the hair, pupils, eyes, lips, dress, teeth, skin, and her butterfly necklace. I know I messed up on the lips really bad. But what do you think? I think its good for my first. C&C please. |

I don't like the overlay effect on the hair. It makes it look....weird. The color of the lips looks weird too. But I absolutely love the eyes & skin. I think you did a rather nice job for your first.

that's really good for your first colorization!
 i don't really like the lip color. i would use a more nude color. i would change the hair color, though. there's a little bit of yellow on the edge of her ear. i love the eyes and skin!

It looks good for a first.Well better than mine anywho. I think you should just change the lip color..something more close to the skin.

^^Yeah, I agree the tutorial had her lips be a redish color. But I didn't know how to make it that way, but okay thanks.

You feathered way too much on the hair, and it should be a darker color. Overlay the lips with a fdark red too.

^lol I dont feather at all with my colorizations :P
Don't be afraid to lower the opacity of the lips to get a more natural color and for the hair, overlay comes out really funny when you use saturated colors. If you use a darker color, it will come out more natural. Use a color in this area http://img506.imageshack.us/img506/2702/asdf5df.jpg |

yeah i understand, but the tutorial that i used said to feather it so i did..lol well im about to post my 2nd colorization i hope yall think its better

I think some of the colors are a little too extreme.
More natural colors would be better. But its pretty good for a first.

hair isn't natural enough
and I don't like the pink lips but otherwise... FANTASTIC JOB
