Yes Rico. What position was it that you allegedly hold?

If you're referring to when you "helped make cB 2", that doesn't count as a modding position.

You might be good as a programmer, but not as a moderator.

it's an extinct one. the position with the title "programmer" since the programming...section is gone...it was the only place i held power in..only 2 other people in cb have got that rank besides me.... i lost it due to inactivity ....why so curious?

Because no one ever believes you when you go on about this. We don't now, either. We have yet to see any evidance of it at all. Someone would remember it. No one does.

What if it's like Chii, and it's due to personal reasons, and don't know when they'll be back?

I had something like that awhile ago, I stepped down. She should too.

ill have to agree with nicki. although i doubt "program mod" was that important, even if only 2 people held the "honor", i'd like some proof.

I think there should be a rule saying that if a mod is going to be inactive for a certain amount of time, say 3 weeks or so, they have to temporarily (I can't spell, sorry) step down

You know the mods are inactive when you talk about how a cb member died from eating a dog in a topic that's been made 8 minutes ago and still isn't closed.

run on sentences power!

wow. i highly disagree.
8 minutes, huh. give me a break.
Think back, people were complaining about mods being too strict and tight about closing topics, hence the whole leinancy thing came to pass. Anyone could see that was a horrible idea. And now, more-or-less, mods aren't closing too many topics in the lounge anymore.
However, now i'm hoping that whole lienancy phase is over. I couldn't stand that. But now atleast people know why mods need to close topics.
It's either "the mods are too power hungry!" or "the mods aren't doing enough!" or "you guys are too strict!" and then the next time, "you guys are too easy!".
blah. whatever.
I have come to a conclusion, that no matter what we do, we will never make you guys happy.

As for the inactive thing, the mods usually have good reasons for being so. We try to spend as much time on here as possible. Though, another hiring session wouldn't hurt, I can't think of anyone that really has been standing out lately as a potential mod.

If you're going to comment on me being inactive, i'm sorry. I've been taking 2 tough college courses that are fit in 6 weeks, so unfortunately they are eating up all my time. I have considered stepping down at one point, however I don't think it really necessary.
Although if you do have a problem with me being inactive, I guess PM me about it, or PM one of the admins or something. Try my best, and i'm being completely serious on that one.

I don't understand why you brought up the leniency thing. This has nothing to do with that.

It wasn't meant to be brought up towards this topic of inactiveness.
It was in response to Juliar.

Don't they have to show a certain amount of activity or else they get demodded? Or has that completely vanished?
It's still there in a way, but it's pretty difficult to get demoted due to inactivity..
