But once again...I can think of very few people who are active who should be modded.

Don't they have to show a certain amount of activity or else they get demodded? Or has that completely vanished?

Used to be. That's what Sammi and I were talking about one day. It should be reinstated, because a lot of them are never on.

Yeah and I think we should do the rating the mods again, that was helpful

Yeah. Like Chii? I've never seen her on. She's on hiatus... but it's been a really long time. She should be demodded.

Hmm, I guess that is Paradox of Life.

Well, some of the mods could be "anonymous" right now. Maybe, maybe not.

Well, you're active Suzzette, we aren't referirng to you.

Katt doesn't post as much as she used to.

I think mods on hiatus should be demodded, if only temporarily.

right. if you're going to be a mod, shouldn't you regularly participate in cB unless you're on hiatus?

If that were the case, they'd have posted in here.

Jusun's not a mod but an advisor, so he doesn't really count. Although his activity would be appreciated.

That's nothing new. :/

As far as moderator activey, I agree that some mods could be more active. In the issue of hiatus, for me it depends on how long the mod is planning to be away. A two week break is doable and sometimes maybe a month. Extensive leaves (in the case of being gone for a over a month or coming on online here and there) usually puts the mod in jeopardy being of asked to step down or demotted.

What if it's like Chii, and it's due to personal reasons, and don't know when they'll be back?

While I agree that there are a few topics that do need to be closed and there aren't [m]any mods on right now--I think you're all being a bit harsh with criticizing the moderators :/.
And that's all I'll say. I doubt I'm even "allowed" to post in here.

We're not really criticizing the moderators. Well, maybe a little, but we're not being harsh at all. huh.gif

The mods I'm mentioned actually are inactive. It's nothing personal, and I've talked to multiple people and they've come up with pretty much the same names...

I don't know, maybe just saying that so-and-so should be demoted or that maybe someone would better replace them is just :/.
I'd take it as being a bit harsh if I was still on staff..
Maybe I just sympathize too much.
