Will you be my girlfriend is the obvious choice if you want a girl to be your girlfriend. If you ask a girl "will you go out with me?" just implies that you want to go out with them not that you want them to be your girlfriend.

'will you be my girlfriend', means that the guy wants a relationship.. obv.
but around here.. 'do you wanna go out with me?' means simply 'do you want to go on a date with me?'. it doesn't mean relationship persay. |

I think that "will you go out with me?" is not the same as "will you be my girlfriend?" because being asked out doesn't really mean it's a date, at least that's how I see it.
does that make sense? |
