"Teen Buzz", ringtone that adults can't hear?!

If you haven't already heard, a ringtone for cellphones has been developed that can only be heard by teens/children! Most adults over the age of 30 can't hear the ringtone because of its high-frequency waves. This means that you can download the ringtone and not get in trouble during school for having your cellphone ring or by getting a text message in class. Of course, some adults may be able to hear it but i tested it out and me and my sister could hear it, but my parents couldn't! It sounds like a high-pitched whistle-like sound.

You can listen to the ringtone here: http://blog.orgday.org/2006/05/25/teen-buzz

Shit, that hurts my ears & it just gave me a headache pinch.gif. I think my ears are just sensitive. It's pretty awesome though but I wouldn't use it, stick to the old virbate mode.

Damn, I must be killing my ears cuz I couldn't hear it on the site. I had to download, turn the computer volume all the way up and windows media player all the way up and even then it was faint. Kinda made me uncomfortable.

Creepy. So now adults are encouraging teenagers to break the rules by bringing cellphones to school without getting caught. Don't you think teachers would notice you answering the phone, though?

When I first heard of this I thought it was crazy and unreal. Then I saw the article and it really surprised me. Goodness, I would HATE to use that ringtone though! It kills my ears!
