I think your hair needs to be really thick and frizzy or curly

The guys at my school who have afros put their hair in cornrows first, and then when they unbraid them their hair just automatically POOFS. :|

^yeah , i used to like taking out my conrows when I had a fro to see how big it was.
Anyway be sure when you get cornrows to tell your hairdresser not to braid so tight at the back or else you wont be able to turn your neck. =/ |
