i'd would normally say neither.
I dislike watching both of those sports.
When the superbowl comes I invite a friend and watch movies and play monopoly. [sp?]

but i would say football over basketball

well basketball. It's more interesting, when you watch you can see the players fac and emotions. And you can be acrobatic and a show off when you score.
