I've both been rejected, & have rejected people, & for one side it may be funny, & maybe for the other side it's sad? What's your rejection story?

This is mine from last night:
So I was at a wedding reception last night & I have the weirdest/ funniest story.
Well it might not be funny to you, but you had to be there to see it.

Ok so I was sitting at the table with my two sisters & my cousin, & some guy comes up to me & goes "Hey, my cousin wanted to know if you wanted to dance with him?". I was shocked, because well.. it's me. So I just confirmed that he was talking to me & then I asked him who his cousin was. & apparently his cousin was related to the bride or groom, no idea because he was wearing a white tux. & I kindly told him that I didn't want to dance. A few minutes after laughing, & telling my sisters & cousin, I looked up at the dance floor & he was peeking through the crowd & he looked dissappointed.

So my cousin had to leave early, but my sisters & I went to the bathroom, & as I was walking there he saw me & went "Hey!", but I jsut continued walking faster, so I wouldn't have to talk to him, or look at him. But as I was freaking out in the bathroom, with my sisters, my older sister went out into the hall & told me he was waiting right there to talk to me. (hahaaa ) So obviously I couldn't spend the whole night in the small bathroom, I had to face the music.

So I walk out of the bathroom, smiling at him, approaching him, & this guy is shorter than me so I had to look down.. & here's the dialogue between me & him..

Me: so you wanted to dance?
Him: Yeah, do you have a boyfriend yet?
Me: Uhmm no
Him: Do you wanna go talk outside? (keep in mind it's like wicked late at night, not to mention pitch black outside)
Me: Uhmm.. I'm way too young for you!?
Him: Oh really how old are you?
Me: FIFTEEN!
Him: Oh
Me: How old are you?
Him: Twenty two
Me:

So then I walk away with my sister crew, I we're just dying at that.

Then when time finally comes to leave, I thought I was gonna make it to the door without seeing him again, then he appears to say goodbye to my family. I tried my best to not make eye contact but then he goes to me "You're leaving already?" & then I turned around while walking still, & I was like "Yeaaaaaaaaaah" , & he goes "Whyyyy?" , Then I go "Becaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaause" .
I turned & i ran out the door & my little sister & I could not contain ourselves. I just died laughing. What a night.

It turns out that he is my mom's cousin's son. Which means that we are related! Creepy much? Yep. So that's my rejection story.

thats like 7 years. haha I had a 24 yr old like me for the longest time. He asked me out and was extremely nice and so on. He dated one of my friends though. haha. so thats actually a 10 yr difference. wow...

I remember my first crush when I was in the 1st grade... I drew a card featuring myself and wrote "I love you" and gave it to a little Asian boy names Eric... and he looked at me and yelled "EWWWWWW" and tore it up. I cried.

haha well me & my boyfriend of almost 4 years just broke up like a week ago...& last night i called his best friends phone b/c i had a missed call from him(I had no clue my ex wuz w/ him) & so my ex answers the phone & i thought it was his best friend so i talked a lil bit then i was like "wait...who is this?" & he's like "******(his name)" & i was like "O i wanna talk to ******(his best friend)" & he goes "no u dont, & he laughed(he thought i was calling to talk to him) & i was like "yes, i do, that is why i called HIS phone, not yours" & he hung up on me......

When I was in 6th grade, this boy that I really really liked, asked me out. But I said no, 'cause my parents wouldn't let me date. I was 'too young' I remember crying that night before I fell asleep. Sometimes, I think back and wonder why I never thought about hiding the relationship from my parents.

I felt so bad for rejecting him.

It was the time when me and my boyfriend had already been broken up for about a month. We were on the phone talking and I really missed him and I was hoping that we would be able to get back together again. So I took up the courage and asked him, he said that he didn't think he was ready. I was crushed and just cried after we hung up. Then I figured out why it's so hard for guys to face rejection.

i rejected someone by telling them what i thought of theri personailty..

told them in a letter:

I will not date someone who is as weak as you. You have a loving father and mother, and the only reason your depressed is becuase you sleep around and feel sorry for yourself... I can't see a single bad thing that has happened to you that you haven't welcomed into your life. I will always be your friend, and i will always support you. But, we will always only be friends.



when i got rejected:

me: Hey want to go out sometime?
her: Sorry... im a lesbien

"have kevin ask himself" and fourtnately for me... he was gonna go to my school the next day... so i called him and he told me to meet him he the front of the school... i went there... and he wasnt there... i called him again... he told me he went to the mall (which is hella close by) so i had to walk alllll the way there... so when i caught up with him... i asked him to go to winterball with me and he said no. i felt soooo bad... 1) because i had to look everywhere for him 2) it was the day before the dance and i was date-less (never thought to ask someone) and 3) becuase if he was gonna say no from the start. he shouldve told my friend that and not have me go look for him. the end.

Alright, my stupid rejection story; In the fifth grade there was this guy that liked me a lot, a lot. He gave me all these little trinkets I loved but I didn't take them cause I didn't really get why he ws giving it to me. Then one day my friend (and his) comes up and says, "Hey Nikki, Adam wants to go out with you." My reaction? "But we're already outside." It was definitely a ditzy moment. Looking back at it, I can't believe how out of it I was. I was such a loser He still liked me for the next two years and I continued to be absolutely clueless.

back in middle school we had load on our buses in the school parking lot, and so we had about 10 minutes to stand around and chat our friends. my friend told this that i like that i liked him. and so she asked him if he liked me back. he said " i don't know."

i wasn't sad about it because.. yeah i didn't care.
i guess you can call that the same thing as being rejected.

have any of you guys ever gotten rejected by someone giving you a rejection number? its basiclly a number where you give to someone who you want to reject. when they call that number it will say something like " you have been rejected by this person..blah blah." i heard it before. but it never happened to me.

my rejection story...er well.. this guy wanted to have sex w/ me and i said no and he said i gave him blue balls..and i didnt know what it meant and then later my other guy friend said that its really painful and guys get it when theyre rejected... i felt bad b/c i heard how much it hurt..but it didnt look like he was in pain at the time O.o

I've never been rejected... except for that 1 time but that was a complete misunderstandin' (he thought i was hittin' on him; im not gay like that)...


Best rejection i've ever given.... there's 2 (Im not gonna use names)



1) A new girl (M) to my school asks me out on her 2nd day there and I actually thought homegirl was cute but i heard she and saw that she was a biatch, so i went up to her (made sure i looked damn good too so she couldn't pull that "I don't want you anyway card) and told her "Im gay" JK, but i told her that i wasn't gonna go out w/ her until i got to know the real M. she had a hissy fit and tried to diss me in front of the class but ended up lookin' stupid cuz i just smiled and said " You don't take rejection that good, huh lil mama" Then i smacked the hoe



2) I wrote a note to this chick (LA) after she wrote one askin' me out. I was real nice. 'I really don't know you like that, plus i'm already talkin to some1. don't get mad, there are plenty of other guys that come after you.' She ignored this and stalked me for the rest of the school year until LA caught me tryin' to hide from her.... twice
