although i think the actual content should be taken over to the left a little.

Nice working with your html and css. good job. the colors go with the layout. black and white. the hover over the image thing worked nicely. the navigation at the top is good. where are all your comments? you should put them in. that is if it doesnt ruin your layout and make it look ugly =P

try adding some colors. maybe that would spice up the layout a bit more. keep it up.

I might take your offer on moving everything a bit to the left.

As for adding some color, I actually really like the whole grayscale thing. I fear adding color would defeat the purpose of the layout also trying to look like polaroids...I don't know.

But I might add comments...problem with that is that the layout would be very long.

it would ruin it.

the pictures being all grey scale and stuff
it wouldn't look right

It looks really nice. That's pretty cool that you hover the pictures and the info stuff appear on the side. Nice!

& I think Courier New is the most perfect font for a black & white scheme.

if you dont want to put in the comments area because of the fear of stretching out the layout, then use a div and put scroll bars in them. control the width and height. it shouldnt be that hard. if you can do it correctly, i think that it'd look nice in your layout. after all everyone is trying to follow the trend of not putting the comments in the new layouts that they're making. i guess some people dont know how to really incorporate that into the layouts that they're making. my advice: dont be like everyone else. that is what will make you stand out.

^i put my comments in all my layouts..
Even for other people..

Although i know how to make it so they don't have the horizontal scroll bars..

anyway yea comments would be nice. A lot of people like to read peoples comments because it shows people what kind of person you are if they don't know you

I didn't change the font, it's always been Courier New. :P

I haven't been home to change the content a bit left, but I think I'll do that. Even it out a bit more.

As for the comments, you can just click "view comments" and see them however I'll take your advice and maybe put them within a div.

Edit:

Changed the content a bit left but can't do anything too drastic unless I want to resize the 300x300 images that show up on hover. 300x300 is pretty small already so I think I'll keep it how it is unless you have suggestions.

Edit2:
Tried putting comments in a div but I didn't like it all, so I removed them. Was fun messing around with that though.

im so in love with the idea
