Anyway, im about to leave and she tells me "You have the cutest Texas accent". I was like _dry.gif thinkin' 'i ain't got no damn accent', but i smiled and left......

That's why i made this topic. now does anyone have an accent so i don't feel weird and "Texan"

Lol. I used to be in denial too. I've been told that I have a very southern / German accent. I guess thats because of living in Florida all my life, and being German. shifty.gif

Kevin has the asian version of the "Napoleon Dynamite" accent. :)

I don't have an accent. I'm constantly correcting my parents in how to say things in english, 'cause they have heavy filipino accents.

But I do impressions of accents though..for stupid laughs. :)

Yeah. It's almost not noticable though.. My mom thinks I have no accent whatsoever, but I can hear it sometimes :)

I was born in Bulgaria and came to Canada three years ago.

Well, being Hispanic, I guess it should be noted that I've always been told I sounded, uhm, "white". I don't know, I've always been told I sounded Caucasian..? If I'm really relaxed, then I'll probably sound very "Californian" or something.

Everyone I've talked to from the US has told me that I just sound normal, but obviously one of my friends in the UK says I have an accent.

When I first moved here from Arkansas, everyone made fun of me for like a year for having a Southern accent, but I'm guessing that went away. huh.gif
