Short answer: No.

Long answer: In theory, it's possible to swap out the hard drive in place of a new one, or use a larger "external" drive. But Option A is difficult, and Option B defeats the purpose of a portable player and drains a lot of battery life.

Like he said. It's not even a flash drive. Unless you can swap out the Flash drive, (Ha!) which you probably can't do. And even if you did, what other drive would you replace it with? There aren't that many out there. The ones being made usually designed for certain products in mind.

I have a 2GB too. it's pretty much shit.
only about 500 songs?
So I plan on getting a video when I get a job.
Getting a new one is basically the only option.

Well you could of used the money that you spent on the iPod and got a other brand of MP3 player with 2x the space for less.

Actually, with the 200$ they probably could have gotten a player with 10x the space.
