Umm, well I was about to say that that isn't normal, but if it has always been happening to you, then it must be normal for you. & About it being safe to do stuff with your boyfriend, I really don't know.

I would like to say that it's called "spotting", however spotting usually occurs betweens periods and not actually during them. If you're having this than it would be considered abnormal, and you should probably bring it up during your next check up with your doctor.

It may just be that you have "light" days. Then it wouldn't be considered abnormal.

As far as if it's okay to do anything with your boyfriend, it should be fine (but I still suggest bringing it up at your next checkup). Actually, doctor's say it's okay to have sex while you're having your period. They say it can help cramps by relaxing the muscles. Just be safe.

Enough of my ranting.

Don't worry, mine does that too. I started getting my period about two years ago, but mine is so irregular! I get it for three days, then it stops... starts again. Sometimes I don't get it for months and I get scared.

Many women have irregular periods, but it wouldn't hurt to have a chat with your Ob/Gyn about it.

And yes, you can fool around with your boyfriend while on or off. However, just remember to use some type of protection if you guys are having sex. (Yes, I'm aware that goes without saying).

:)

I don't no how old you are but there will be times when your Mestrual cycle will be all over the place but thats apart of growing up and as you mature more and get older your period will stop being all over the place Well its normal it happens to other people its just apart of growing up...its not safe to be doin anything with your boyfriend because the egg could be still waiting to be fertillised it depends but If you do anything with your boyfriend make sure that you use contaception.

That's exactly what I had a few months back. It was really bad cos I was in the middle of an English class when I suddenly felt it coming on. It's happened to a few of my mates too so I don't think it's too much to worry about. Although I find it irritating. rolleyes.gif

I dont think its abnormal...mine does that too. I think its because you just kind of assume your period is over but its not...it still has about a day left...I dont see that as abnormal at all.
