You ask her out when you feel that you know her well enough that you may enjoy her company. That may be a very long conversation that took place over a day or maybe spread out conversations that happened over the span of a week. It just depends really.

When you feel like you know her well enough, good side and bad. You know how to treat her, you know her personality, attitude, reactions, etc. When you're determined about your mutuality (how well the both of you get along). When you feel that there is really something special between the both of you and that you can take your friendship/relationship to a different level. When you think your relationship can last, and that you have goals (loads of stupid teens in my school year go out for no reason, just for the sake of it).
Most importantly, when you can be your complete self around her. And when you feel the both of you are ready. |

I think it just depends on the couple .. When you feel you've gotten to know them well enough. |
