we dont know him, and shouldnt make scornful comments about him. acedemia isnt the only way through life, and it pissed me off when people asssume that anyone who doesnt excell is doomed to failure.

snobs.

James, do I excel in school? Hardly. But yes, typically getting held back not just one, but two grades is a pretty good indicaion of failure, really. And anyway, the world revolves around judgement. Let's consider college acceptance. They certainly judge based on that. And it's cruel that the perfectly capable get overlooked in favor of those who are decent at a certain array of subject matter, but really, what else is there to go by? I'm sure that kid's a perfectly nice guy- I wouldn't judge his character- but really, if your priorities are that messed up, that isn't good.

its just an indication that he doesnt care about school. that has nothing to do with failure.

my friend likes younger guyss. haha.

but then some freshman boys are adorable, puppy-adorable, just because they have young faces and haven't had puberty attacking them yet. :)

Lol thats what i said.. he got held back because he smoked alot of marijuana and his brain cells were burned out lol they have now been restored and are in tact. lol (is that possible?) tongue.gif

This explains your Jessica Simpson icon.

Except at least she has the sense to get a guy who is half decent. Maybe you should replace your icon with Britney Spears. There's a role model for ya!

And I seriously doubt you'll be "loll"ing when he knocks you up when you're both extremely stoned and five years later he isn't paying child support.

Damn, I'm glad my boyfriend's not a loser. :]

mellow.gif Um just because relationships end, doesn't mean they failed. Relationships are just supposed to lead you to the one you are supposed to be with, if anything, ending relationships is success!

I just finished my freshman year of HS. I actually...loved it! I didn't mind being the youngest in the school...it was kind of fun. But I know exactly what you're saying about the boys! Every guy I dated this year were all sophmores..lol. I mean I liked a couple freshman guys..but nothing ever worked out with them. Because compared to the sophmores...the sophmores just seemed A LOT more mature. : ) only my opinion thouuugh.
