Spelling is apparently of no matter to them whatsoever. "Perty"? "guuuuddd"?

I seriously can't stand Le Tigre, but their Don't Drink Poison is so so addicting. It's the only one I'm willing to listen to more than once, and it's fun to bob your head to.

And I do like She Wants Revenge. Their music kind of gives you a claustrophobic feeling, and I don't know. I just like them.

But She Wants Revenge is a lot like Interpol, except that Interpol is ten times better.

In honesty, I haven't heard much of Interpol. And I know that's kind of sad, because they're pretty popular, but I don't know. I never got around to listening to them.

^The whole reason I'm asking for good music is because I've... I've become addicted to showtunes.................

That is right... I haven't stopped singing songs from Chicago, Avenue Q, and Wicked for at least a fortnight.

Neutral Milk Hotel --- Holland, 1945

NMH irritates me. I don't like the lead singer's voice at all. I don't know why, it's just...irritating.

But I have some reccomendations as well:
M.I.A. - Arular (album)
The Wonders - That Thing You Do (song)
Gnarls Barkley - St. Elsewhere (album)
A Tribe Called Quest - Bonita Applebaum (song)
The Fugees - Killing Me Softly With His Song (song)
Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill (album)
Imogen Heap - Speak for Yourself (album)
John Legend/Lauryn Hill - So High [Cloud 9 Remix] (song)
John Legend - Ordinary People (song)
Spoon - I Turn My Camera On (song)

Hope that helps!

You can't not like "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea." I think that'd be considered some sort of indie blashphemy. And "Oh Comely" is good as well, but the rest of the album I could live without.
