^ Martin Luther King Jr. was a BIG influence because he was speaking up for his own people. Name me one person that is active for gay rights that is gay and has done a lot for the society. I don't think anyone has made that big of an influence and I don't think anyone that's straight or bisexual will make an influence like Martin Luther King Jr.

People really need to back off and let homosexuals fight for themselves. I'm not against homosexuality. I really don't care. I'm just tired of people making such a big deal out of it. Such a big deal that people who aren't homosexuals are getting angry about it ...

So you disagree with me ? You think MLK Jr. Should have fought for black rights only ? Let Hispanics, Asians, other races, fend for themselves ? And there a lot of gay people to out in the open. Although not a LOT has been done, because some people dont accept homosexuality. To name one, who has spoken about it at various events, on tv, at her concerts, Melissa Ethridge. And I didnt say Martin Luther King didn't do anything. Go back, read Mipadis post, read mine enforcing it, and see if I said anything about MLK Jr not fighting for all races. His main point might have been for black equality, but he still fought for the races of everyone.

If you dont fight for the rights of people who are hated on, because who they life, then thats on you. But I stand up for gay rights even though I am not lesbian.

It's not wrong. I think it's really gross, ofcourse I think anything sexual interaction (except kissing I soppose) is gross at this point so ya. It is a little weird how you can't have babies and stuff tho (at least...you can't, can you?). but there's plenty of kids to be adopted so yaa...absolutely nothing wrong with it.

with todays life styles in the media. yes its pretty much acceptable of course we have our sterotypes and other people that won't be the bigger person and just accept everyone for themselves..

Also, I find it wrong. I don't get why you put if your girl it is because then you just being a sterotype pretty much by saying its only right for this one sex and not the other. If it is for one then it is for all its like your singling out people. And all people know they don't like to be singled out.

I think it's good that you stuck with your friend. It's better to have a friend that you know will do good things, instead of those that don't.

Personally I am against homosexuality, but I don't believe that being bigitous towards people is going to help them any. There are some crazy people out there that call themselves Christians, and the ones that take it too far like protesting with signs that say 'Thank God for Dead Soldiers' are just nuts. They aren't Christians.

I know some gay people and I act like they are normal people. I've been taught that we should hate the sin not the sinner. And I believe everyone is a sinner so I'm not just pointing him out. Okay?

I personally think that people who are opposed to gay and lesbians are ignorant and close minded. Having a friend, who came out to you shouldn't falter your judgement of him whatsoever. He has and had been the same person he always was, its just that he likes humans with penises as well.

For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

God gave people up the their passions... meaning... they went to hell. He let them follow their own path, and they didn't choose what he had commanded. This is a letter from pual to the curch in rome. At the time chirstians in the church of rome were lost in sexual sin. Romans back then had alot of sex... tons... like, it was nuts... so paul had to wright about it telling them what God had told him what was right and what was wrong.

there are other verses in the blble other than these, but they require more understanding of the scriptures.

From a biblical stand piont, God made men to be with women and women to be with men. He aparently considers it to be an abomination for men to use their bodies the wrong way. The bible does not command us to hate homosexuals. We shouldn't have a problem with them doing their thing.

There are some religous sections of the christian church that interprate the bible to say that homosexuality is ok. Yes, this is very plausible... It's also not an essencial part of the christian religion. The most important thing is that you love Jesus> if you love Jesus(God)> you will obey his word and keep his commandments to the ebst of your ability. Interpreting the scripture is important when you want to obey him, becuase if you don't you won't know what he says about the many different topics that come up all arounf you. Look if you truley belive that loving Jesus is being a homosexual. Then thats fine. Personally, for me loving Jesus is choosing to believe that it's not ok. I will not risk interpreting the scripture the wrong way. It's better to not do it at all than to find out that its wrong when I try get to heaven. why take the risk of doing something that could be so wrong that i could goto hell. Plus, I love women I have a beautiful girl friend that I love.

The bible does not say to hate homosexuals, but the bible does give the impression that homosexuality is a sin. Some may interpret the bible differently, but as for me homosexuality is a moral sin. I will continue to respect homosexuals, but i believe that they are risking the chance of going to hell for their own sexual desires.

I beleive that people become homosexuals base upon the environments that they grow up in. the bible says:

- Pro 22:6, Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

This doesn't refer to just children it goes for anyone. Your environment is want trains you as a person. Your parents, your friends, your co-workers, your teachers... pretty much anyone or anything you respect will have an influence on your opinion training you to become to person that you will be. So, in some ways homosexuality is not chosen. even from a biblical prospective.

You do discriminate. Discrimination is judging someone based on who they are, what 'step' they are on in the social heirarchy, their gender, their race, and their sexuality ETC. They are not different from anyone else. And it shouldn't be awkward for you, with your attitude towards gays i don't see how any other boy could like you. And so, im assuming if you'd feel awkward around boys cos they may like you, you must be the same around girls. Cos there is no difference.

And if God will punish all who are gay,lesbian,bi. then has God been lying when he said that he is all-forgiving ? That he accepts everyone ? How do any of us even know if God was opposed to gay and lesbians. Because its written in the bible ?

In my mind, you are ignorant and closed-minded and blind. But to you, I may seem that way because I don't agree with you. But I think it's VERy wrong, to nto accept someone because they like someone else with the same sexual organ as them. And if you are so into what God says is right and wrong, aren't you wrong in not accepting them, not 'loving thy neighbor' or something of that sort.
