im an up coming freshie and im scared to death about the first day    of school how was high school you?

I am now a soph. my freshmen yr was alright. ppl thought I was a junior/senior cause i was like 5'6, 5'7. A junior liked me (Still does) and I found the love of my life (still w. him but we didnt meet at skool so i guess tht dont count)

i will be a fish in 1 day! and i am not scared at all. my sister is a senior and everyone likes her so i already know alot of people. i am not popular or anything like that but i don't worry. everything will be cool. the hardest part will be the first day. after that, it is all gravy. and p.s.---->>-->>->all of seniors are stupid. no offense to current seniors.

It's really not all that scary but of course fear is usually natural for incoming freshman. Just stay cool and don't do anything embarassing that might follow your image for the next four years. The best of luck to all the incoming HSers.

I think the more you act intimitated, the more the upperclassmen will pick on you. And don't act snobby. The most irritating thing ever is when lowerclassmen act like they own the school. Rawr.

x i was reallie scared too at first cause i thought i will end up having friends who does drugs like on that tv when they tell u to do drugs. i was scared about that and i was scared that i wont make any friends in the first day of school, but i prayed that God helped me meet a lot of ppls at the first day of school. I love my God so much. My heavenly father is so awesome -tears- anyways yeah i think mostly ppls were all scared about it. my sister is gona be a freshman this year... and she jus said she's excited.....wow she's not even worrying about it lols. my sister, jr0h who is above me doesnt care...interesting...i bet she will get that nervous rack before school starts lols i jus know

high school isnt as bad as you think it is..if you have your friends with you, you'll be ok. im sure you have at least one friend going to the same school as you ;)

Your highschool years are the best years of your life....I'm a senior now and it seems like yesterday I was a freshmen....it goes by so fast so just stay out of trouble, have fun, get involved, go to parties, make new friends and just enjoy it because you'll miss it later....the only people who think highschool is bad are the people who didn't get out there; basically loners, so don't be a loner.....

I thought freshman year was easy and simple except for the occasional "stupid freshman" but that usually wasn't directed to me.

You have nothing at all to worry about. There are slightly different things from middle school, but they're a lot alike. Just don't mind the stupid and annoying people, mind your own business, and you should be fine.

As for me. My freshman year is ending and I've overall disliked it. I've lost a lot of friends, and I've made friends. It's the ones that are your true friends that count for your support and for you to support them. *Also, choose your friends wisely.

nah, theres no reason to be nervous. you'll be alright. you'll get cut some slack for a little bit by the teachers until you get a hang of things. we were at my school anyway..

Mine isn't, but my school is backwards. The best parties are hosted by the players (the theater kids) and everyone makes fun of the cheerleaders.

It's really not bad once you get used to it.

Whatever they tell you about high school in middle school... Don't believe it. In my opinion, they make it sound so much harder than it really is. And they actually treat you like you're in high school. In middle school, they treat you like little kids... There's so much more freedom, but it's not like they totally abandon you. And make friends with the upperclassmen, don't be afraid of them! They might tease you about being a freshman, but seriously, there are some awesome people that you'll meet.

In other words, high school basically kicks middle school's ass.

High School is so much better than Middle School. Freshman year has been the best so far.
